No I know there are many many readers out there who already have an iPhone that fully intend to have J.K. Rowling’s new book as well, also I realize there will be many times more books printed than iPhones made, but I have observed about the same level of craze for the Deathly Hallows as was present for the iPhone up to and including it’s release date. I may have found an equivalence between the two items. Do you think I am correct in the following equation?
Is there a relationship between how much the items cost and how many are sold if we say that the furore surrounding them is roughly equal? Thus:
Cost of iPhone x number of iPhones sold = Cost of Deathly Hallows x number of books sold
If I was to do a comparison of the two items in terms of how many people by volume are going to / or have already purchased either the iPhone and or the book, what would the totals be? Take my polls and find out!
